Rock take Game 3

The Oakville Rock came to the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena with purpose Thursday night and it showed.
Rob Hellyer scored three times, while Dan Lintner added a pair to lead the Rock to a 7-6 win over the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs in Game 3 of their Major Series Lacrosse semifinal.
The Chiefs now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
After Cody Jamieson tied things up early in the third period, Bill Hostrawser responded to give the Rock a lead they wouldn't give up.
Andrew Kew scored the other Rock goal.
Brendan Bomberry led the Chiefs scoring a hat trick, while Chris Cloutier, Tyson Bell and Cody Jamieson added one each.
The semifinal series now shifts to Oakville for Game 4 on Sunday at 7pm. Game 5 is Monday at the ILA at 8pm.
