Lyle Thompson scored three goals and three assists, while Warren Hill made 55 saves to lead the Six Nations Chiefs to a 13-10 win over the Peterborough Lakers Thursday at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

With the win, the Chiefs have tied the best-of-seven Major Series Lacrosse final at 2-2.

It was another goal-filled first period, with Joe Resetarits scoring the first of his two of the period in the opening two minutes of the game. Cody Jamieson, Bryan Cole, and Lyle Thompson responded, giving the Chiefs a lead. The Lakers went on a run of their own thanks to Resetarits, Jake Withers, and Thomas Hoggarth. Eli McLaughlin, Colton Armstrong and Thompson exchanged goals to end the period to tie things up.

Adam Thistlethwaite and Resetarits bookended the second-period scoring. Despite that, it was all Chiefs for most of the period. Brendan Bomberry, Thompson, Cole, and Larson Sundown all scored during the Chiefs' run.

The Chiefs sealed the deal in the third period thanks to goals from Travis Longboat, Sam Leclair, McLaughlin, and Justin Martin. Resetarits, Owen Hiltz, and Taite Cattoni responded for the Lakers.
