Mann Cup expectations are high for Victoria Shamrocks

It's been 28 years since a Western Lacrosse Association went to Ontario for the Mann Cup and brought it back west.
The Victoria Shamrocks aim to break that streak and they've got the confidence it takes to pull it off. Playing the same team they lost to in last year's Mann Cup finals -- the Six Nations Chiefs -- helps. “The nice thing is we have a pretty good idea of who they are, who their personnel is and how they play," Victoria coach Bob Heyes told the Times Colonist. "I’m happy about that aspect of the series."
