Chiefs even series with a Game 2 win over Shamrocks

Eli McLaughlin and Lyle Thompson each scored three goals, while Warren Hill shut the door to lead the Six Nations Chiefs to a 10-4 win over the Victoria Shamrocks Saturday in Game 2 of the Mann Cup championship at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
The Mann Cup final between the Chiefs and Shamrocks is now tied 1-1.
McLaughlin got the Chiefs off to a quick start scoring twice in the first five minutes of the game. Shayne Jackson added to the lead midway through the frame. The Shamrocks bounced back with a pair of goals thanks to Mathieu Gautier and Marshal King.
Thompson led the way in the second period, scoring a pair of goals, while Randy Staats and Dhane Smith added singles. Cole Pickup had the lone Shamrocks response.
Thompson scored his third goal of the game, while McLaughlin and Staats gave the Chiefs some insurance,
