Cody Jamieson is a big game player, and showed that again during the Major Series Lacrosse playoffs.
After the Six Nations Pro-Fit Cheifs captured the MSL title Sunday in Peterborough,  Jamieson was named winner of the Johnny (Shooter) Davis Trophy as playoff Most Valuable Player.
Jamieson’s six point effort in Game 7, three goals and three assists, gave him 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points in the final series. The Peterborough Lakers' Shawn Evans, held to one assist in Game 7, also recorded 28 points on 10 goals and 18 assists.
Jamieson led all playoff scorers with 50 points, four more than teammate Jeff Shattler and five more than Evans.
MVP honours are nothing new to Jamieson. The Six Nations resident was the MVP of last year's Mann Cup, as well as the National Lacrosse League Champion's Cup
in 2012 and 2013, with the Rochester Knighthawks.
