Sundown scores winner in Game 2

Larson Sundown set the sun on the Cobourg Kodiaks Thursday night, scoring the winner in the third period, giving the Six Nations Chiefs a 7-5 victory in Baltimore.
The Chiefs lead the best-of-seven Major Series Lacrosse semifinal series 2-0.
The Kodiaks got on the board when Tyler Hendryks converted a Marshall Powless pass at 10:18 on the powerplay, but Shayne Jackson tied the game on the power-play off a Ben McIntosh feed at 18:34.
The Kodiaks got on the board first when Carson Moyer beat Doug Jamieson off an Ethan Riggs pass at 4:26, but Austin Staats converted a Ben McIntosh pass 39 seconds later to tie the game again.
Hunter Aggus gave the Kodiaks the lead again unassisted at 8:25, followed by Marshall Powless scoring off a Carson Moyer feed at 15:34.
Austin Staats brought the Chiefs within one goal converting a Larson Sundown pass at 16:00, followed by Eric Fannell scoring in transition off a Jeremy Thompson feed at 18:55. The Chiefs took their first lead of the game when Larson Sundown tip-toed across the crease beating Orleman off a Ty Logan pass just 0:15 seconds later.
Tanner Buck opened the third period scoring converting a Tyler Hendryks pass at 1:02 to tie the game, but Larson Sundown scored the next two for the Chiefs. The first goal with just 3:42 remaining was off a Ben McIntosh feed, followed by a blast off a Lyle Thompson feed 0:31 seconds later.
