Nanticoke nets a trick in win over Kodiaks

Five was a popular number Sunday evening, in the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs road victory over the Coburg Kodiaks.
Lyle Thompson, Tehoka Nanticoke and Cody Jamieson each earned five points in a 14-9 win over the Kodiaks.
Nanticoke led the way with three goals, while Ethan O'Connor added two. Thompson, Jamieson, Chris Cloutier, Kasen Tarbell, Dhane Smith, Shayne Jackson, Brodie Birkhof, and Ian Mackay pitched in with a goal apiece.
Brandon Robinson netted the hat trick for the Kodiaks, Bennett Drake added two, while Kyle Killen, Cam Milligan, Joey Cupido, and Colton Armstrong scored one each.
The Chiefs now hold the top spot in Major Series Lacrosse with an 11-4 record, two points ahead of the Peterborough Lakers.
On Tuesday, the Chiefs and Lakers will faceoff for first place at teh Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. Game time is 8pm.
