Chiefs come from behind to beat Rock for second time in a row
Cody Jamieson's goal midway through the third period completed the comeback and gave the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs the lead for the first time since the game's opening goal in a 11-10 victory over the Oakville Rock Monday at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre.
Jamieson started the comeback late in the second period with a goal that gave the Chiefs all the momentum they needed to heat things up, while Brendan Bomberry tied things up early in the third.
Jamieson led the offence with three goals and two assists, while Lyle Thompson made his Chiefs debut in style, scoring twice and adding two helpers in the cause.
Zed Williams continued to impress, scoring twice, while Bomberry, Kyle Jackson, Leland Powless and Tyson Bell pitched in with one goal each.
Dillon Ward made a triumphant return to the Chiefs, making 52 saves.
Andrew Kew led the Rock with four goals on a seven point night, while Rob Hellyer added six assists. Challen Rogers netted two goals for the Rock, while Brandon Slade, Dallas Bridle and Matt VanGalen added one each.
Nick Rose made 35 stops in the loss.
