Rock hand Chiefs 13-8 loss

A couple of familiar faces haunted their former teammates Tuesday night at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
JohnnyPowless had a five point night and Ryan Benesch added four points as they helped the  Oakville Rock beat the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs 13-8 in Major Series Lacrosse action.
After Ian MacKay gave the Chiefs an early lead, the Rock replied in a big way thanks to Jordan Magnusson, Matt VanGalen and Wes Berg.
Craig Point scored the other Chiefs goal.
The next 20 minutes was a game of runs, with Kyle Jackson and Dhane Smith giving the Chiefs a lead, before Dallas Bridle, and a pair from Andrew Kew responded for the Rock to regain the edge.
Shane Simpson and VanGalen then exchanged goals, giving the Rock a two-goal lead heading into the final frame.
Though the Chiefs started the third period the way they wanted thanks to Brendan Bomberry, the Rock responded with six goals. Challen Rogers netted a hat trick in the third period, while Kew, Powless and Benesch added to the lead.
Eric Fannell and Craig Point responded for the Chiefs.
With plenty of offence in this game, both goalies were busy. Nick Rose got the win for teh Rock making 49 saves, while Angus Goodleaf made 39 stops in his Chiefs debut.
Thursday, the Chiefs, who drop to 1-3 on the Major Series Lacrosse season, hit the road to face the Brampton Excelsiors, before hosting the Coburg Kodiaks on June 19.
