Chiefs dominate North Stars

The Six Nations Chiefs were again dominant, this time when they hit the road to defeat the Owen Sound North Stars 11-2 Saturday.

Eli McLaughlin and Travis Longboat opened the scoring in the first period, before Shayne Jackson scored midway through the second period. austin Staats followed that up with a pair of goals to close out the frame.

Longboat struck again early in the third period, before Jackson Webster finally got the North Stars on the board two minutes into the period. Austin Staats, Jackson and McLaughlin all added to the cause, before Tyler Brown struck for the team. Jackson and Smith both scored again to close out the game.

Warren Hill made 44 saves for the win, while Kaleb Martin continued his solid play this season with a 54-stop night.
