Chiefs dominate Excelsiors 12-2

For the second time in three days the Six Nations Chiefs flexed its muscle over the Brampton Excelsiors. This time it was a 12-2 win for the Chiefs at Brampton Memorial Arena Thursday.

Lyle Thompson and Shayne Jackson led the way with three goals each, while Austin Staats and Travis Longboat pitched in with two apiece. Bryan Cole and Randy Staats added to the cause with one goal each.

The Excelsiors responded with JP Ward late in the second period. That goal stopped an unprecidented 93-minute shutout streak for the Chiefs. Zach Sunderland also scored for the home team.
