Lakers force Game 7

The Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs and Peterborough Lakers are going the distance again.
Despite a four-goal effort from Dhane Smith, Curtis Dickson stole the show, scoring five goals and one assist to lead the Lakers to a 13-10 win Thursday night at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
The best-of-seven Major Series Lacrosse championship series is now tied 3-3.

Smith led a five-goal first period assault for the Chiefs with three goals, while Johnny Powless and Kasey Beirnes added singles.
But the Lakers were equal to the task, with Chad Culp scoring twice, while Brad Self, Adam Jones and Curtis Dickson added one goal each.
The Lakers then took things over in the second period, with Dickson adding four goals, while Cory Vitarelli and Mark Steenhuis netted one goal each.
Jeff Shattler and Dave Brock replied for the Chiefs.
In the third period, Adam Jones scored a pair of goals to add some insurance for the Lakers, while Stephen Keogh, Smith and Powless responded for the Chiefs.
Brandon Miller was tagged with the loss between the Chiefs pipes, making 32 saves, while Matt Vinc made 36 stops in the win.
Game 7 of the MSL final takes place Monday
at 8pm, at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
