Chiefs put on offensive display on win over Brampton
Dhane Smith had another huge night with eight points, while Shayne Jackson, Josh Byrne and Andrew Kew each scored hat tricks as the Six Nations Chiefs handed the Brampton Excelsiors a 15-2 defeat Tuesday at the ILA.
Kew scored all three of his goals in the third period, while Cody Jamieson, Smith and Jackson added one each.
The barrage continued in the second period with Byrne netting three goals, with Jackson, Nonkon Thompson, Lyle Thompson, and Brendan Bomberry adding to the lead. In the third period, Ryan Smith and Jackson put an exclamation mark on the game, while Thomas McConvey and Cody Inness responded for the Excelsiors.
Doug Jamieson had a solid game in net.
The Chiefs, now 10-0, return home Tuesday against the Peterborough Lakers.
