Rose stands tall and steals Game 2 for Rock

It's pretty safe to say that the goalies have been the stars early in this Major Series Lacrosse semifinal between the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs and Oakville Rock.
After Doug Jamieson stole the show in Game 1 last week, Nick Rose was huge for the Rock Tuesday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, making 47 saves en route to a 7-6 win over the Chiefs.
The Chiefs jumped out to a lead after 20 minutes after Randy Staats scored two of his four goals on the night, while Tyson Bell and Kyle Jackson added singles.
Johnny Powless responded with two goals of his own, while Challen Rogers netted one.
James Barclay and Jeremy Noble gave the Rock a lead after two periods, scoring the only goals of the frame.
The Chiefs attempted to come back twice, thanks to a pair from Staats. But every time he scored, Matt VanGalen and Jeremy Noble had a reply.
Despite the loss, Jamieson was again great between the Chiefs pipes, making 41 saves.
With the best-of-seven series tied 1-1, things shift to the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre Thursday, for an 8pm showdown.
