Staats and Smith set to return

With two weeks to go before the Major Series Lacrosse season begins, the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs are busy confirming its roster for the 2017 summer.
The defending MSL and Mann Cup champions will welcome Dhane Smith and Randy Staats back for the summer.
Staats is having another big season with the National Lacrosse League's Georgia Swarm. They are currently looking to beat the Toronto Rock in league's semifinal.
The Six Nations resident scored 33 goals and 45 assists with the Swarm this season.
With the Chiefs, Staats was a huge contributor to the Mann Cup victory over the Maple Ridge Burrards. He scored 25 goals and 24 assists in 14 MSL regular season games, and had nine goals and seven assists in the playoffs.

Smith returns for his third summer with the Chiefs. After injuries limited him to only six regular season MSL games, he was a force in the playoffs scoring 19 goals and 22 assists to lead the Chiefs in post-season scoring.
With the NLL Bandits this season, Smith had 30 goals and 51 assists in 14 games.
The Chiefs will kick off its 25th anniversary season on Tuesday May 30 at 8 p.m. against the Coburg Kodiaks.
