Facing elimination, the Brooklin Redmen did what they had to Saturday night at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
The Redmen got goals from John Lafontaine, Shayne Jackson and Mike Trolo in the third period to pull away with a 9-7 win over the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs.
The Chiefs now lead the best-of-seven Major Series Lacrosse semifinal series 3-1.

After Vaughn Harris scored early to give the Chiefs a lead, Mike Teeter and Priolo netted goals to pull the Redmen ahead.
Dan Lintner and Shawn Williams added to the Redmen lead early in the second period, before the Chiefs semmed to take over. Cody Jamieson's three unanswered goals, which were followed by markers from Harris and Jeff Shattler gave the Chiefs another lead. But like they did all night, the Redmen were able to stop the bleeding thanks to Dan Ball and Lintner.
Kasey Beirnes closed out the Chiefs' scoring in the third period.
Zack Higgins was huge in the Redmen net, making 52 saves for the win, while Brandon Miller made 27 in the loss.
Game 5 of the series is in Whitby Sunday at 8 p.m., with Game 6, if necessary, set for the ILA Tuesday at 8 p.m.
