AUSTIN, TX (April 7, 2026) — FloSports today announced a landmark, five-year exclusive media rights partnership with Major Series Lacrosse (MSL), one of the most storied and competitive box lacrosse leagues in the world, and the Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA), the provincial sport organization for lacrosse in Ontario. The agreement represents FloSports’ first investment in box lacrosse and underscores the company’s commitment to expanding coverage of one of the fastest-growing sports in North America.
Founded more than 94 years ago, MSL is widely regarded as the premier Senior “A” box lacrosse league in Ontario. The seven-team league features many of the sport’s top athletes, including a strong contingent of National Lacrosse League (NLL) professionals. Each season culminates with teams competing for the Mann Cup, Canada’s national championship, where the MSL champion faces the winner of the Western Lacrosse Association.
Through this partnership, FloSports will exclusively stream every MSL game —
including the full regular season, playoffs, and league championship —
on its platform starting in the 2026-27 season. This is the first major media deal for
the MSL, providing it with a comprehensive, centralized digital home
that includes streaming, editorial, social programming, and more.
“This is a big deal for us and for box lacrosse overall,” said Lynn Withers, Commissioner Major Series Lacrosse. “FloSports
is our first media partner and was chosen because of a proven track
record in growing access to underserved sports. They have the ability to
expose this sport to millions of sports fans who may be seeing this
type of competitive play for the first time.”
“Lacrosse
is surging in popularity across North America and Major Series Lacrosse
is one of the best brands of box lacrosse in the world,” added Phil Wendler, EVP Global Rights Acquisition, FloSports.
“MSL has a rich history and an incredibly dedicated fan base, we’re
excited to bring this style of lacrosse to fans new and old.”
The agreement represents a first-of-its-kind partnership for
both organizations, FloSports’ debut in box lacrosse and MSL’s first
comprehensive media rights deal, positioning both parties at the
forefront of the sport’s continued growth. It also reinforces FloSports’
commitment to the sport of lacrosse. In 2026, the company will stream
more than 1,600 NCAA lacrosse events on its platform.
