Want to play for the Chiefs? Here's your chance with our free agent camp
Have you ever wanted to play for the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs?
Here is your chance.
The five-time Mann Cup champions are looking for that next player or goalie that could step into the lineup alongside the likes of Cody Jamieson, Randy Staats, Sid Smith and Brandon Miller.
We are holding a free agent camp for those players who think they have what it takes to be part of the Chiefs family.
"We are excited to offer a free agent camp for those undrafted and free agent players in Ontario,” Chiefs general manager Duane Jacobs said. “Every year there are over 200 players going overage in Ontario. The landscape in Major Series Lacrosse is ever changing and this year is no different, with the overlap of the NLL season and the year-round demand on players. We feel it's necessary to hold this camp as we will need players short and long term. We are always looking for talent and having this open camp allows us to leave no stone unturned.”
Players eligible are free agents that are not property of an MSL team. The Chiefs are looking for 40 players and six goalie for the camp.
Camp dates at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena are Saturday April 9 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday April 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Saturday April 16, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost per player is $25.
If you are a player and feel you have what it takes, and have felt over looked, here's your opportunity.
