Rory returns Saturday

After a tough 7-6 loss to the Brooklin Redmen earlier this week, the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs will get one step closer to a full lineup Saturday.
Rory Smith makes his return to the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, when they face the Oakville Rock at 7 p.m.
"We're pleased to know that Rory will be returning to our active roster," Chiefs general manager Duane Jacobs said. "With the injury he had, he required time and we were not about to rush or pressure him back until he was ready."
Smith only played three games this season, before suffering an injury. He had one assist in those games, and was a defensive force, which is something the Chiefs will need as they head down the home stretch of the regular season.
"We missed his presence for sure," Jacobs said. "But now he is back and not a moment too soon with these big games coming up."
On Wednesday, Curtis Knight's goal with five seconds left in regulation time gave the Redmen the victory.
With a large chunk of the lineup still missing after returning from the FIL World Field Lacrosse Championships, Scott Defrancesco led the Chiefs with three goals and one assist, while Vaughn Harris added a pair of goals and a helper, with Joe Hall pitched in with a goal.
