Jamieson leads by example in Game 1 win over Kodiaks

Cody Jamieson led by example, scoring two and added three assists in a 13-7 Six Nations Chiefs win over the Cobourg Kodiaks.
The Chiefs strike first blood in the best-of-seven MSL semifinal series.
Eli McLaughlin, Jamieson, and Austin Staats opened the scoring to give the Chiefs a comfortable start. David Anderson replied before Randy Staats and Austin Staats extended the Chiefs lead. Anderson scored his second goal to close out the first-period scoring.
Tyson Bell opened the second period up with a goal, before Aaron Woods and Anderson inched the Kodiaks back into the game. But Austin Staats scored his third of the game and Justin Martin added a pair to give the Chiefs more distance. Woods and Jamieson exchanged goals near the end of the frame.
The Chiefs. kept coming in the third period. Dhane Smith scored twice and McLaughlin added his second. Brock Haley and Nathan Grenon replied for the Kodiaks.
