The Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs battled hard, but couldn't find an answer for the Peterborough Lakers.

With the victory, the Lakers claim the Major Series Lacrosse championship and a shot at the Western Lacrosse League champion New Westminster Salmonbellies, who will host this year's nationa senior A lacrosse championship.
The Lakers opened the scoring early thanks to Holden Cattoni, before Jordan Durston and Randy Staats replied midway through the frame. In the late going, Thomas Hoggarth tied things up again.
Things opened up in the second period with both teams exchanging goals before exchanging two-goal runs.
Dhane Smith, Staats, Durston and Kyle Jackson scored for the Chiefs, while Shawn Evans, Zach Courrier, Adam Jones and Kyle Buchanan scored, before Currier netted his second of the frame late, proving to be the game-winner.
Jones and Brock Sorensen added to the lead in the third period, with Dan Dawson inching the Chiefs closer. But it was too little too late, with the Lakers blocking everything the Chiefs could throw at them.
