For the second game in a row overtime did not solve anything for the Six Nations Pro-Fit Chiefs.
After playing to an 8-8 tie with the Oakville Rock Friday on the road, the Chiefs again went the distance on Tuesday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, playing the Peterborough Lakers to an 6-6 draw.

In a game that featured tight defence, Ryan Benesch scored the game's first goal midway through the first period, before Holden Cattoni and Cory Vitarelli gave the Lakers a late first-period lead.
The two Major Series Lacrosse heavyweights exchanged goals in the second period, with Vaughn Harris, Benesch and Cody Jamieson scoring for the Chiefs, while Cattoni, Chad Culp and Brad Self responded for the Lakers.
Stephen Keogh finally tied things up for the Chiefs, but that was short lived, when Shawn Evans gave the Lakers yet another lead. But then Randy Staats came from the corner to tie things up one more time, with overtime not solving anything.
Dillon Ward was a workhorse between the Chiefs' pipes, making 4 saves, while
Evan Kirk and Matt Vinc, who came in relief at the start of the third period combined for 45 stops.
With the tie, the Chiefs now sit in second place, with an 8-3-2 record, three points behind the Lakers.
The Chiefs are on the road Wednesday in Brooklin, before returning to the ILA Tuesday at 8 p.m., when they host the Rock.
